Through the generosity of Rochelle Weitzner, CEO of Erno Laszlo, and co-hosts Anne Akers of GLOW Beauty Magazine and Jan Mercer Dahms of 6-figures, a large and enthusiastic group of friends gathered to toast the holidays and honor the female Veterans of Shining Service. Special guest appearances by Brig. General Loree Sutton, NYC Commissioner of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Roxanne Henry, Karen Adrada, Robin Smith and Lisa Beatha. With thanks to makeup artists Diana Solomon and Laszlo’s Daniel Ramirez, Hair Stylist Cheryl Thomas, Kathleen McFeeters, CEO of Donna Morgan for holiday wardrobe, guest vocalist Ingrid Saxon, and all those who attended and contributed holiday raffle prizes. A VIP breakfast at Bloomingdales’ Le Train Bleu began a special morning of heartfelt tribute and patriotic energy honoring military veterans, and especially, our female Vets, returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Makeover services were contributed by Bobbi Brown, celebrity stylist David Zyla, and wardrobe by Bloomingdales. The female Vets were presented in a runway show, followed by a special Rally on the main floor of Bloomingdales, featuring Emcee Tamsen Fadal and vocalist Ingrid Saxon.
