Connecting Readers with The Top Sources
in Beauty, Health & Wellness

Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like
wrapping a present and not giving it

Welcome to GLOW Magazine,

Dear Friends,

Someone once said that gratitude, and the ability to express thanks, is the highest form of thought . . . creating happiness doubled by wonder. Well, who wouldn’t want that? On this, the 5th Anniversary of GLOW Magazine, the list of people to be thanked is long and growing. It includes our Editorial team, contributors, authors, advisory board members, strategic partners and event hosts. Each of these talented people are united in one intent which is to connect you, the reader, with the best sources in beauty, health, wellness and positive living.

And what better way to celebrate this intent than with our cover, Arianna Huffington, and her clarion call for each of us to look beyond the typical metrics of success — money and power — to embrace a third metric which includes a sense of well being, our ability to draw on our intuition and inner wisdom, our sense of wonder, and most of all, a capacity for empathy and giving. In Arianna’s own words: why should we be content to just live when we can thrive, as expressed in her latest book, THRIVE: The Third Metric to Redefining Success, and Creating a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom and Wonder.
Expanding our mission to reach all areas that affect our health and well being, we have added a new section, “HOME: Our Sanctuary of Health and Well Being” and “BEYOND MOM”, with articles dedicated to the young mother, pre and post pregnancy, as well as general topics surrounding women’s health.

And, as is the tradition in each issue, we welcome our “Top Doctors” on subjects ranging from Ageless Elegance to new approaches in Integrative Health, along with sage advice on “How to Find the Best Doctor”. For the Professional Women, this issue features articles on crowd funding, personal and online branding, leadership skills, how to communicate with the press, and even tips on “your last Big Gig”. Lastly, and certainly, not least, we send along special thanks to Diane Von Furstenberg for sharing wisdom and warmth in her new book, “The Woman I Wanted To Be”.

ENJOY. . . and may your days ahead be filled with good health, kindness, gratitude. . . and the joy of knowing you are the woman you always wanted to be.

As ever!
